The Robin Hoare Band
Robin Hoare is entering a vibrant phase in his career with the release of his new album “A Time and Place”. His songs tell it how it is about today’s world from the credit crisis to online gambling addiction. As well as being a contemporary blues story teller, Robin is one of the most distinctive blues guitarists working today. This is blues to help you get down not to get you down.
The Charlie White Project
Charlie and the band play a set of hard-core dependable blues, with a highly personal twist. There’s no fat on a Charlie White gig and nothing peripheral or insignificant, just quality playing with feeling. They present prime cuts of finest quality electric blues with funky breaks from his excellent rhythm section. Charlie will also be wielding his dobro for a solo set of his own acoustic/folk blues material.

Billy Martin Junior
Acoustic Roots Poet Mr Billy Martin Junior will take to the stage with a set of his original soulful, blues storytelling, wry humour and a voice of rare power and character. Under his off stage name, Martin Bragger is a highly respected songwriter and noted contributor of songs to Tony Christie’s critically acclaimed Townsend Records release “Made in Sheffield”. That album was produced by another noted Sheffielder Richard Hawley. Go to a Billy Martin Junior gig and you may see grown men cry! Rest assured, you’ll see them laugh too. Pure, rare class.
