Tom Attah & The Bad Man Clan

A modern, living bluesman...

Tom Attah is a strong and soulful performer of new and original acoustic blues material, based in the UK.
Combining the raw power of Son House with the dense hypnotic rhythms of Howlin’ Wolf and the barrel-chested roar of the old blues shouters, Tom’s live shows take audiences on a journey from the Delta to the Download.

Traditional and transitional, Tom is the modern, living bluesman. As a guitarist and singer, Tom performs internationally solo, with a number of acoustic duos and as the leader of his 5-piece electric band – The Bad Man Clan. Tom’s solo acoustic work includes his own original Blues compositions and has led to performances at major music festivals around Europe, the US and Russia, including major stages at the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, and Blues Autour Du Zinc.

Tom’s multiple national radio appearances include performances and documentaries for BBC Radio 4, and his blues compositions and recordings play in Mayfair, London, at the permanent exhibition to Jimi Hendrix. This year, Tom is curating the acoustic stage at the festival, as well as taking time to complete his academic studies in blues music and blues culture.
