Jessica Foxley Unsigned winners - Adenland

Tuesday, 4th August 2015

Year on year we invite the best unsigned blues artistes in the UK to audition for their chance to perform at Europe’s Best Blues Festival. Once again, we were overwhelmed with hopefuls all battling it out for their chance to perform at the 26th year of the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival.

The auditions have been held ever since 2010 in memory of Jessica Foxley, a talented musician who sadly lost her life. The Jessica Foxley Unsigned initiative has since gone on to unearth some of the best up and coming artistes from all over the UK, with the Festival giving them the perfect opportunity to kick-start their careers.

Adenland won their chance to perform at this year’s Festival and join Good FoxyJack BlackmanJohnny Bird and Tales of Two Counties.

Adenland are a 3 piece band fronted by Aden, a talented young musician with ability that surpasses his young age. Aden is joined by his father Barry, who plays bass and Danny, who plays drums and supports Aden on vocals.

Aden has been playing the guitar since the age of 5 and last year, he became the youngest person to ever pass Rockschool Grade 8. The band were formed in 2009 and have played a number of gigs ever since, maturing with each performance and winning plenty of fans along the way.

Adenland will be performing on the final day of this year’s Festival on the British Stage. Get your tickets to see them here.
