The Blues Train

Once again we are delighted to be working in partnership with East Lancashire’s Community Rail Partnership (ELCRP) and Northern Rail.

For the 4th Year the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival with ELCRP will be providing “The Music Train” leaving Preston on Friday 28th August 2009 and arriving into Colne at approx 7.30pm to kick start the Festival in style. With Real Ale and live music on board what better way to start the weekend?

Northern Rail will once again be putting on extra and late night train services over the Bank Holiday Weekend bringing you to and from the festival in style (please continue checking the website as timetables will be published and updated on a regular basis)

In addition musicians will be playing at specific times throughout the weekend at Colne Railway Station to ensure entertainment is guaranteed to get you in the swing of things before you even hit the Official Festival Venues.
