1 GREAT FESTIVAL

In Celebration of International Women’s Day…

We’d like to celebrate women’s achievements in music… and to enjoy a huge ‘cheers’ to all the incredible female talent we have lined up as part of this year’s festival.

Jason Elliottfestival director, commented “We’re extremely proud of our 2018 line up and of the huge array of female talent which will grace our stages this year. We’re delighted to be musically female-heavy!”

Just some of the female talent involved –

Connie Lush – Arguably one of the finest Blues singers in the UK today.

My Baby – Fronted by the wonderful Cato, My Baby offer a swampy-blues and funk-infected sound to cast a formidable spell.

Kyla Brox – Kyla’s voice remains a stunning example of the soul-blues singer’s art; she is one of the most authentic UK blues and soul singer of her generation.

Zoe Green Band – delivers a powerful blues-rock vocal and high octane performance, accompanied by the ridiculously talented guitarist Ali Clinton.

Lisa Mann – Mighty skills on the bass guitar, plus a heavenly husky-powerful voice.

Lisa Mills – takes her audiences on a musical, and often humorous, emotional journey with charm and panache that is melodic, raw, unfettered and, most important, searingly honest: expect blues, country, gospel and soul…

Elles Bailey – seamlessly weaves rootsy blues, country and soulful rock with a contemporary edge, and her trademark ‘smoky vocals’.

Lucy Zirins – Modern, folk-tinged country-blues.

and many more, including Ruby & The Revelators, Bella C Collins., Becca Langsford, Katie Bradley…

Plus, more female talent the be announced, as the festival ‘Roadhouse Venue’ line-ups will be revealed in the not-too-distant future.

The event has also has a whole load of male talent!
