A FESTIVAL THANK YOU

A festival thank you from the chairman of the Working Blues Group at Colne Town Council, Councillor Joe Cooney –

“As the curtain falls on another Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival can I thank everyone who has contributed to make the event another brilliant success.

There are too many people to mention individually, of course, but… a great many thanks go to our hardworking staff and volunteers, all the festival venues including the ‘roadhouses’, the fantastic festival sponsors and partners, and the incredibly talented artists, who combined, created a truly memorable event.
Thank you for everything you’ve done.

Thanks also to all the music-loving #festival goers for coming along and enjoying all that Colne has to offer.

Love for the festival continues to roll in, including this recent review – ‘Thanks to everyone involved in the Colne R&B festival. Three days of pure blues pleasure with every act on top of their game. Special thanks to all the artists, the hard working support staff and the people of Colne for making the weekend special’.
