BBC RADIO LANCASHIRE ANNOUNCE THEIR CHOSEN ACT
This year we’re working closely with BBC Radio Lancashire’s Blue Notes show.
Blue Notes is Radio Lancashire’s dedicated blues music show which airs each Sunday at 5pm. If you’ve not already discovered it, now’s the time… it’s well worth a listen.
To kick things off, Blue Notes has chosen a blues-inspired act who best represents the picturesque and music-immersed region of Lancashire, to represent them at #ColneBlues2019.
Promising to take the Hippodrome stage by storm on Sunday afternoon, their chosen act is – The Jupiter Blues.
“An electrifying mix of blues, soul, and good old rock n roll. Right from the start this band pull you into their world of sound with their incredible stage presence” – Jace Media.
The Jupiter Blues are an electrifying four-piece committed to bringing audiences the very best in blues-infused rock ‘n’ roll.
The band has developed a formidable reputation as one of the liveliest and entertaining acts on the circuit, thrilling audiences with their hard-rocking show.
With a host of foot-stomping originals, likened to that of legendary rockers The Black Crowes and Free, The Jupiter Blues offer a show filled with good vibes, musicianship and… unpredictability!
