One of our festival acts (and maybe more!) will play at The UK Blues Challenge this September.

Plus, they may also be chosen to play the International Blues Challenge in Memphis… and the European Blues Challenge in The Azores.

We’re sharing this news from the UK Blues Challenge, which takes place on 8th September 2018 at Worthing Pier’s Southern Pavilion in Sussex.

A panel of over 600 people was invited to submit nominations and the four acts garnering the most nomination points were invited to take part in the UK Blues Challenge.

A fifth act will join them. This act will be chosen by the Jessica Foxley Unsigned Project panel from those acts appearing under the Project’s banner at this year’s The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival 2018 ie us!

The winner of the Worthing event will be invited to represent the UK at the 35th International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in January 2019, plus at the 9th European Blues Challenges in Ponta Delgada, Azores during April 2019.

As a festival, we’re thrilled to play a small part in proceedings 🎶
