GILES ROBSON – “one of the world’s great living blues harmonica players”

Three facts you may not know about Giles Robson.

* Giles was the first ever British or European artist signed to Chicago’s legendary Alligator Records in it’s 47 year history – on an album with two USA blues legends: Bruce Katz and Grammy Award winner Joe Louis Walker. The label described Giles as “a giant… an absolute master of the form”.

* Giles been described by Grammy Award winning blues harp legend Sugar Blue – as “one of the great living blues harp players”.

* Blues Matters Magazine recently described Giles as having a “growing international reputation as one of best blues harmonica players in the business”.

A unique and world class talent, Giles and his band play for us this summer. Giles also hosts a harmonica workshop, where he’ll share technical secrets and the ethos behind the amplified Chicago blues harmonica style.
