An Audience with Dom Martin

Sunday, 25th August 2024

Little Theatre Acoustic Stage | 15:00 – 16:00

Dom takes questions from the audience and talks about his life, influences and music. The master musician demonstrates his guitar technique and performs some of his favourite acoustic music in the festival’s most intimate venue.

Dom Martin is a multi-award winning Irish guitarist, hailed by many as the successor to the legendary blues/rock artists Rory Gallagher and fellow Belfast man Gary Moore.

Dom has won multiple awards for his acoustic work with a 2019 European award, UK awards in 2020/2021/2022 and as a result is now an inductee in the UK Blues Hall of Fame.

He is equally adept on electric with his power trio, having won the UK Blues Awards Best Instrumentalist Award 2022 & 2023.

Dom won Blues Album of the Year at the 2024 UK Blues Awards and we can’t wait to enjoy two performances from him at this year’s festival!
