The Mel Outsider Reformation present a classy Rock Soul Funk Blues set by a long-standing band with a shifting line-up but a resilient core membership’ according to critic Norman Darwen (in ‘RnR’ magazine), it snatches dashboard confessionals in observational snapshots.
They take songs from the Rock ‘n’ Roll wide-screen mythology, but place it in a very northern English setting, Mel returns to the main stage Colne 2024 with a Steller band and its the first appearance since The Outsiders UK completed a staggering 286 shows in 365 days at Colne Muni 1993.
