1 GREAT FESTIVAL

The Muni  |  Saturday  |  2:20pm

Dirty rhythm and blues from the depths of Alderney, based in London. Island born Robert J. Hunter combines his gruff and powerful voice with the wild thud of overdriven blues guitar.

His powerful debut album, ’Songs for the Weary’, received blues chart success and critical acclaim and the single release, ‘Demons’, reached number one in the UK iTunes Blues Chart.

Following his set at The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival 2017 – Jessica Foxley Unsigned – (we loved his set so much, he’s back with main stage billing for 2018!), The Robert J Hunter Band were chosen as the fifth and final act to compete in the UK Blues Challenge at Liverpool‘s legendary, Cavern Club.

This is a road worn, dirty blues band that’s been honed to super tight perfection by sheer hard work and volume of shows.
