LITTLE THEATRE LINE UPS 2019

Squeeze up 2019 festival bands, we’re announcing our ​2019 Little Theatre line ups.

The 12 acts, individual acoustic artists and bands, who make up the 2019 Little Theatre acoustic stage are now announced.

The Little Theatre is a ​75​ capacity venue situated in the heart of Colne. ​It’s an intimate venue, full of character and charm, with a full height stage and comfortable, cinema style seating. A hugely popular venue at the festival, this stage forms part of our ticketed event schedule.

The stage is curated by British blues rock guitarist and singer songwriter Jack J Hutchinson, who says…

“It is a real honour to curate the Little Theatre stage at the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival. I grew up just down the road in Burnley, and it always feels like coming home when I play or simply attend the festival. There are a number of acts on the Little Theatre bill who, whilst tipping their hats to the past, offer something refreshing and contemporary. Others present a more familiar take on the blues, and are no less vibrant. What they all share is a commitment to new, original material.
Jade Like The Stone mixes blues with opera leanings and folk. The Head Hunters Blues Band have southern rock leanings, as do Stone Thieves. Meanwhile, Katie Bradley, Dave Ferra and Barry Jackson present a more familiar take on the blues in all it’s glorious forms…”
