30th ANNIVERSARY

ANNOUNCING THE ROADHOUSE VENUES AND LINE UPS FOR 2019

The festival ‘Roadhouses’ are a number of official venues, bars, pubs and restaurants situated across the beautiful town of Colne, which are home to a myriad of free-to-enjoy live music events during the festival bank holiday weekend.

Explains Paddy, musical director for the festival, “I’m hugely exited to present the 11 Roadhouse venues for the 2019 festival.
These non-ticketed, walk-able venues showcase some supreme acts from across the UK blues music scene.
Performers include bands who have previously played our main stages, and have reformed to be part of the 30th festival year, plus prospective main-stagers – discover your new favourite artist in an intimate setting before they hit the big time”.

He adds, “The feeling is that people are really enthusiastic for what we are offering in Colne. You could say: Something Old (traditional blues), Something New (undiscovered blues talent), Something Borrowed (bands adding their own twist to blues classics) and… definitely Something Blue”.

With the 30th blues festival in Colne showcasing 170+ acts over 22 stages, this is the biggest ever blues festival for Colne.
Evidence shows it could also be the best.
