Our venues are all within close proximity to each other and are all indoors. We aim to provide you with as much information to enable you to make an informed decision on whether to attend or not based upon the facilities available being suitable to you.

Tickets & Carers

All tickets for The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival are priced as standard, carers are permitted to accompany ticket holders free of charge, but proof is required. For each ticket you buy, Colne Town Council will provide a matching one for your carer, free of charge.

Please ring Colne Town Council to arrange these tickets on 01282 861888 or email

Venue Access

Our venues are all indoors and take the form of pubs, clubs, theatres and public facilities. This means the facilities on offer will vary, and some venues may be inaccessible to individuals based on this.

The Exchange Project
The Exchange Project is wheelchair accessible. There is a disabled access portable toilet located outside of the Exchange Project.

Pendle Hippodrome
Pendle Hippodrome is wheelchair accessible. There is disabled access into the auditorium via the cobbled street up Church Meadows and dedicated wheelchair spaces. We would recommend that you bring a carer with you to help manage access through this traditional street. There are no disabled toilets, however the Town Hall which is located very close to Pendle Hippodrome has disabled toilet facilities and these will be available during Town Hall opening hours.  Backstage facilities are not accessible to disabled performers and staff.

Assistant Dogs

All of our venues allow assistance dogs, please inform Colne Town Council prior to the event.
