Welcome to the official home of the Great British R&B Festival. This year we celebrated our 22nd Anniversary – with more music, more big names and more talent than ever!
Year after year we bring you the best in both national and international R&B music – and this year was no exception.
As usual we had a fantastic line-up, with some of the biggest names in the world of Blues gracing our stages.
We also had some new, young, up-and-coming talent raring to perform on the British Stage over the four day event.
Radio Lancashire again took control of the British Stage on the opening night, broadcasting live from Pendle Leisure Centre.
Following on from the success of the 2010 festival, the Jessica Foxley Stage was also featured again this year. Showcasing young, local R&B talent, and giving them a rare opportunity to perform on such a prestigious stage in front of hundreds of dedicated Blues fans.
With more roadhouses and family entertainment, some crackin’ big Blues names and a fantastic atmosphere, a great time was had by everybody as we celebrated 22 years of The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival.
We look forward to seeing you back in Colne in 2012 for what is now officially the ‘Best British R&B Festival!’
